The Drawing Marathon by Night

The Drawing Marathon by Night is a regularly organised event initiated in 2015 with the second-year students of Graphics at the Pedagogical University in Krakow. The nine-hour-long marathon takes place at night, from 6 pm to 3 am. Around 30 participants are divided into teams of two or three people, each team working on a large-format drawing (4 x 1.5 m). The drawings are inspired by short literary texts or musical pieces given to the participants at the beginning of the event.

There have been three editions of the event so far, completed with exhibitions at the Gallery of the Faculty of Art (2015 and 2016) and at ARTzona in the C. K. Norwid Culture Centre in Krakow (2017).
