Images of Light

The art book Images of Light is a result of my cooperation with the photographer Beata Długosz. The idea of the book as well as its graphic design concept are based on the author’s experience with photosensitive materials. The book consists of essays, black-and-white infrared photographs, and photo installations which all refer to the idea of time, continuity, and transience. The book is performative. When unwrapped from black foil, photosensitive elements emerge inside the book and on its cover. The book is supplemented with the artist’s portfolio and statement.
